This appeared in the National Enquirer in early September 1983. These were the first publised photos of KISS without their makeup. A few weeks later KISS appeared on MTV without makeup for the official unmasking. These photos appear to be passport photos. Judging by their hair length, the photos are probably from the The Elder era (KISS needed passports when they played in Mexico)
