It was 30 years ago today that Eric debuted at the Palladium and 15 years ago today that he was honoured at the Rock Walk. Your drums of thunder will live on in your music and our memories

July 25
     1980 -
On the afternoon of Eric's first KISS performance, video footage is shot of Eric behind the drums to include a short KISS promo video. Eric makes his KISS debut at the Palladium in NYC with The Rockats openning. His family and girlfriend are among the soldout 3,383 fans, but none of Eric's friends. Paul Caravello ceases to exist and hides his new life from old acquaintence. The Palladium, now closed, was located at 126 East 14th Street betweetn 3rd and 4th. It was previously known as the Acadmey of Music. KISS had played a few of their early show here, and Paul Caravello had played there in December of 1970
     1980 - Tomorrow, backed with Naked City is released in North America
     1990 - KISS plays Charlotte, NC, USA, Charlotte Coliseum, Hot in the Shade tour
     1995 - Fifteen years to the day that Eric debuted with KISS, Eric, along with Ace Frehley, are inducted into the Rockwalk in Los Angeles, California, U.S.A. Eric's mother and father accept a plaque in his name and Ace gives a heart-warming speech about Eric. No other members of KISS attend the ceramonies.

July 26
     1980 -
Unmasked reaches its peak position on the U.S.A. Billboard charts: #35
     1980 - Eric, with Bill Aucion's guidance, modifies the Fox makeup by taking away the silver outline and adding a white stripe down the nose
     1990 - KISS plays Greenville, SC, USA, Memorial Auditorium, Hot in the Shade tour

July 27
     1980 -
KISS tape their appearance on the USA show Kids are People Too. This is Eric's introduction to the US market and his first television appearance since the Gullivar fire in 1974.
     1990 - KISS plays Greensboro, NC, USA, Greensboro Coliseum, Hot in the Shade tour
     1991 - Eric is in Los Angeles to tape the God Gave Rock and Roll to You II video

July 28
     1990 -
KISS plays Fayetteville, NC, USA, Cumberland County Civic Arena, Hot in the Shade tour
     1991 - This is the final day of shooting for the God Gave Rock and Roll to You II video. It is also the last time Eric will play with KISS.

July 30
     1980 -
Unmasked is certified gold by the RIAA

July 31
     1990 -
KISS plays Savannah, GA, USA, Civic Center, Hot in the Shade tour

July
     1982 -
Eric and KISS begin recording their big comeback album, Creatures of the Night at the Record Plant Studios in New York City. However, it's too little too late for Ace. He doesn't participate in the the album.
     1983 - KISS returns to the Record Plant in New York City to continue work on the their new album. It was around this time that Paul and Gene, along with their creative consultant Danny Goldberg, deside that it's time to take off the makeup
     1983 - KISS is forced to cancel the last leg of the Creatures of the Night tour. This time it's shows in Argentina. The shows were scheduled for Agusts 19, 20 and 21 in Buenos Aires. Production problems were the least of the band's worries for the shows. Local terrorists threatened to blow up the stadium, with a capacity fo 50,000 people, if KISS played there
     1984 - KISS is hard at work with their new guitarist, Mark St. John, at Right Track Studios in New York City. The New album is tentatively titled Animalize. After laying down the drum tracks, Eric flys to Florida for some fun in the sun
     1985 - KISS wraps up recording the Asylum album in New York City
     1986 - KISS begins filming their second long-form video in Los Angles. The video features many older KISS videos and is hosted by Paul and Gene. The title is KISS Exposed and barely features Eric and Bruce
     1989 - Recording of Hot in the Shade continues from June 15 to late August at The Fortress (studios) in Hollywood,CA
     1989 - Eric buys a condo near the United Nations building in Manhattan
     1991 - God Gave Rock and Roll to You hits #4 on the U.K. charts, becoming one of KISS' biggest U.K. hits
     1992 - KISS releases another long-form video, this time titledXtreme Close-Up. It features some rare footage of Eric in his Fox makeup
