McFarlane's Creatures of the Night Series Figures
|
Released in late July 2002. |

The Creatures of the Night series contains the first official Eric Carr merchandise since 1990. The series consists of The Fox, Space Ace, The Demon and The Starchild. Each were sold individually in a clamshell box or together as a set, complete with a full drum kit, stage, light rigging and working lights.
Any KISS fan will immediately recognize that the costumes and makeup aren't from the Creatures of the night era (1982), but rather from the Unmaksed era (1980); more specifically from the Palladium show on July 25, 1980. This is obvious from Eric's makeup. On the figure he is sporting the original Fox makeup.
Let's take a look at this very detailed KISS series ... one at a time and as a complet set
The Fox figure is the most impresive of the four. It is completely poseable. Packaged in the clamshell box, he comes complete with a pair of drum sticks, a drum stool, gong, gong holder, a floor tom and three attaching tom-toms.

Of the three "front" figures, the Space Ace is the best balanced and most true to life. The individual figure comes with a beautiful miniture black Les Paul guitar with nylon strings.

If you'd always wanted a blood spitting demon in your claws, well, this is the chance of a lifetime. The demon comes to life, complete with drooling blood and his infamous axe shaped bass guitar.
